Now, don't take this in the wrong way .. I'm all for peace, love, and smoking Mary Jane and hookahs, but I find it honestly hard to look into the face of our human race, strain my eyes for the few diamonds in the rough, and continue onwards on my merry little way without experiencing a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach for the future of humanity.

Yes, a sorrow so stealthy that I am saddened even by the mention of such a process.

I, unlike many, do not enjoy the company of misery, as much as she may adore me, thusly, our entire species and the examples they set inevitably brings me to see things in a new light, and immediately, I wish to turn that light off and once more dwell in the safe bliss of my ignorance.

To hide from whatever veins that light bleeds from in the womb of my own solitude and unknowing.

However, after what that light has shown me, I am embarrassed and ashamed by my fellow human, and generally so appalled that no matter how deeply I burrow into my deep, dark, and velveteen womb of silent ignorance, I cannot banish what facts that light revealed to me.

So, I must crawl from my abyss of blissful oblivion and meet it head on, like a child forced from the warmth of its mother's birth canal.

And like those babies, I'm pissed.

But please, forgive me if the fact that we take living for granted makes me bitter and cynical.

Life is indeed a banquet, and most poor sons of bitches are starving to death.

Life is full of precious little seconds that die almost as soon as they are born, and youth is wasted on the young.

And yes, the hardest thing to do in this world is live in it, but its still the longest damn thing you'll ever do.

So, in reverence to the facts above, I don't waste time on people who aren't worth it.

Therefore, I don't have too many people I can call 'friends,' even as I have more amusing acquaintances than I can count.

It takes something special for me to hold you close, so don't feel bad if I'm not exactly nice, because in my eyes, you're a dumbass until you can prove otherwise.

And I don't like dumbasses.

That's rule one, if you are to ever read these meaningless descriptions that I deem my life.

For rule two, I'll have to discuss your opinion.

It probably doesn't matter.

Just because your voice is loud doesn't mean your opinions are.

You are not original.

You are not unique .. like a snowflake or whatever your teacher's beat into your self - centered little heads when you're growing up.

You are just one little person in a sea of many.

You see, the school system .. the ones of the Americans..
They have this little conspiracy all set up: they encourage you to stand up and out and sideways, but when you do 'let the little faery in you fly,'
they'll step on your toes. Because we don't matter.

This is a big world and humans have lived on it a long time. Chances are, somebody's already been there and done that, so get over it.

Remember, unless I say it's so, your opinion probably doesn't mean much to me.

So, if you express yourself and get an unexpected reaction, don't blame me.

This is my journal, and it reads me.

Now, not to discourage anyone whose managed to follow through this far into my rant, to be perfectly honest, I'd rather you not even read it.

I'd rather you never know anything about me.

We'd both be better off that way, I do so believe.

However, if you find an urge somewhere to read it, then by all means, go ahead.
